In the post credit scene of Black Panther 2 we saw Nakia walking up to Shuri with a child.

Nakia tells her that the child is of T'Challa, and she also named him T'Challa after his father's name.

Since the child was born just after Thanos happened so he is around 5 years old and is the rightful heir to the throne.

According to the Director Nate Moore, if audience like the Shuri as Black Panther they will keep her as the new black panther for the next movie aswell.

But anyways he will eventually become the new Black Panther and Shuri will go back to her previous job.
